Ur hat, svartsjuka och avund kommer intet gott. Metropolitans upps\u00e4ttning av Otello bjuder p\u00e5 storslagen och samtidigt minimalistisk scenografi.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Verdis opera st\u00f6rre \u00e4n Shakespeares pj\u00e4s<\/span><\/h1>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Det var en imponerande, ganska modern <em>Otello<\/em> vi fick se p\u00e5 Lilla Teatern i l\u00f6rdags kv\u00e4ll.<\/strong> <em>Otello<\/em> \u00e4r Verdis kanske b\u00e4sta opera, definitivt den mest kr\u00e4vande tenorrollen i den italienska repertoaren.<\/p>\n<p>Svartsjuka, som \u00e4r temat f\u00f6r Shakespeares pj\u00e4s som operan bygger p\u00e5, k\u00e4nner de flesta till. \u00c4ven om det kan vara sv\u00e5rt att identifiera sig med en florentinsk general p\u00e5 (i originalet) medeltiden, dessutom av nordafrikanskt ursprung (det h\u00e4r var dock den f\u00f6rsta g\u00e5ngen jag inte sett en svart Otello) \u00e4r k\u00e4nslorna allm\u00e4nm\u00e4nskliga \u2013 k\u00e4rlek, hat, svartsjuka och avundsjuka.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Operan utspelar sig p\u00e5 Cypern under sent 1800-tal och vi f\u00e5r se storslagen om \u00e4n ganska minimalistisk scenografi med intelligenta scenl\u00f6sningar.<\/strong> P\u00e5 m\u00e5nga s\u00e4tt \u00e4r Verdis opera ett \u00e4nnu st\u00f6rre verk \u00e4n Shakespeares pj\u00e4s, men mindre trov\u00e4rdig d\u00e5 Otello framst\u00e5r som alltf\u00f6r l\u00e4ttlurad och alltf\u00f6r l\u00e4tt \u201dg\u00e5r p\u00e5\u201d den onde Iagos komplott att utm\u00e5la frun Desdemona som otrogen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Otello\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/kultursidan\/22274713836\/in\/album-72157659643713708\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm6.staticflickr.com\/5789\/22274713836_9306c4f580.jpg\" alt=\"Otello\" width=\"500\" height=\"366\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<em>Brinnande svartsjuka mitt i k\u00e4rlekslyckan. Otello ifr\u00e5gas\u00e4tter Desdemonas trohet. I rollerna Alexandrs Antonenko och Sonya Yoncheva.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Som tragiskt drama \u00e4r det som helhet oslagbart i sin skildring av en stor, men s\u00e5rbar, m\u00e4nniskas gradvisa underg\u00e5ng.<\/strong> Fallet blir f\u00f6rst\u00e5s enormt fr\u00e5n folkk\u00e4r hj\u00e4lte till sinnessjuk kvinnomisshandlare och det spelas skickligt av Antonenko, som verkar nerv\u00f6s i b\u00f6rjan men gradvis v\u00e4xer in i rollen b\u00e5de vokalt och sk\u00e5despelarm\u00e4ssigt. Stundom blir det stor konst \u00e4ven om det s\u00e5ngligt inte alltid \u00e4r vackert, \u00e4nd\u00e5 kan inte m\u00e5nga sl\u00e5 Antonenko i v\u00e4rlden idag.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Den ohyggligt onde Iago \u00e4r mer tacksam att g\u00f6ra.<\/strong> Lu\u010di\u0107 spelar med dramatiskt bred pensel och sj\u00f6ng n\u00e4stan varenda detalj i partituret.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Desdemona \u00e4r en inte lika tacksam roll att g\u00f6ra rent dramatiskt.<\/strong> Rollen \u00e4r knappast en v\u00e5t dr\u00f6m f\u00f6r en feminist d\u00e5 hon oftast \u00e4r ett offer, men det var en gl\u00e4dje att b\u00e5de h\u00f6ra och se Sonya Yoncheva.
