Mozart har sl\u00f6sat med sin allra b\u00e4sta musik p\u00e5 detta verk.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Det h\u00e4r \u00e4r den b\u00e4sta upps\u00e4ttningen jag sett av denna vackra men \u201dknasiga\u201d opera.<\/strong> Titeln blir ungef\u00e4r \u201ds\u00e5 g\u00f6r alla\u201d och \u00e4r en sorts lek med 1700-talets invecklade uppvaktningskonventioner i \u00f6verklassen. Det var oftast om\u00f6jligt att tala klarspr\u00e5k om k\u00e4rlek och sex, d\u00e4rf\u00f6r kl\u00e4dde man ut sig till \u201dunderklassen\u201d, oftast en herde, i ett sorts s\u00e4llskapsspel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>H\u00e4r g\u00e5r spelet dock \u00f6verstyr och operan kallades f\u00f6rr ofta omoralisk, nuf\u00f6rtiden manschauvinistisk,<\/strong> vilket man driver med i f\u00f6rspelet som gycklar med dagens besatthet av \u201dsexual politics\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Kort och gott: Systrarna Fiordiligi och Dorabella \u00e4r f\u00f6rlovade med tv\u00e5 unga m\u00e4n. Don Alfonso lurar i ungherrarna att pr\u00f6va sina f\u00e4stm\u00f6rs trohet och f\u00e5r dem att kl\u00e4 ut sig till helt andra personer. F\u00f6rest\u00e4llningen har f\u00f6rlagts till 1950-talets stora n\u00f6jespark Coney Island i New York. Affischerna och de kortvuxna akt\u00f6rerna drar \u00e5t \u00e4nnu \u00e4ldre tiders freak show.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mozart har sl\u00f6sat mycket av sin absolut b\u00e4sta musik p\u00e5 detta verk.<\/strong> S\u00e5ngarna \u00e4r alla skickliga b\u00e5de vokalt och sceniskt, men lider alla av ett \u00f6verproducerat, lite burkigt sound, som s\u00e4kert skulle varit Mozart fr\u00e4mmande.
